Greg Ouellette, Program Coordinator
Greg shares a hometown with Abigail Adams, John Adams, and Dunkin Donuts (Quincy, MA)! The seeds for his interests in service and spirituality were planted early at Boston College High School. Learning about Ancient Greek and Latin at Georgetown University helped nurture and animate those seeds along with seeds for simple living and community. Maybe the two minors in Theology and Justice & Peace Studies helped, too. After graduating, Greg joined JVC Northwest as a JV in Spokane, where he served as an Operations Specialist at House of Charity. Then, he returned to Casa Bayanihan, an alternative semester abroad program through the University of San Francisco and located in Manila, Philippines, (where he spent one semester during college). As a Community Coordinator with Casa, Greg lived in intentional community with students, accompanying and supporting them, and helping with the program. In his free time, he enjoys playing and watching sports, reading, biking, hiking, playing board games, and many other interests. He also enjoys timely and opportune TV, movie, music, sports, spiritual, and pop culture references. Greg continues to feel grateful for the JVC Northwest values and opportunities to live into them. He is excited for the gift of returning to JVC Northwest as a Program Coordinator, and is looking forward to accompanying JVs during their service year!
