Join us for a series of virtual recruitment sessions this spring to learn more about JVC Northwest and how you can discern if a year of service is right for you.
In the midst of COVID-19, we know that it is a particularly difficult and confusing time to figure out what comes next. Everything seems up in the air, including college, future employment opportunities, and even summer jobs.
We want you to know that a year of meaningful service and community with JVC Northwest is still an option. We are still accepting applications for the 2020-21 program year and are currently placing Jesuit Volunteers/AmeriCorps members for service beginning in August 2020.
Register for the next session below and keep an eye out for additional sessions in the weeks ahead.
“The Application and Selection Process and Q+A”
Thursday, June 4 at 5:00 p.m. ET / 2:00 p.m. PT
We’re coming up on the last-chance deadline to apply for the 2020-21 service year. Learn why it’s crucial to get your application in as soon as possible and what the interview and placement process looks like. We’ll also open the call up for an informal Anything-You-Can-Possibly-Think-Of Q+A session with our Recruitment Team.
“You Have Questions, We Have Answers”
Thursday, June 11 at 5:00 p.m. ET / 2:00 p.m. PT
Come ask our recruitment team anything and everything you can think of related to post-grad service and JVC Northwest.
How is JVC Northwest similar and different than other post-grad service years? What’s it like to live with other JVs? How can I make my application stand out? Does it really rain as much as they say it does in the Northwest?
“Last Chance Q+A”
Thursday, June 18 at 5:00 p.m. ET / 2:00 p.m. PT
This is it: your last to apply for the upcoming year with JVC Northwest. We’ll let you know what you need to wrap up your application between now and the June 30 deadline. We’ll also answer all of your lingering questions during our informal Q+A.
Note: All sessions will be held through Zoom. Please email Chris Suriano, Recruitment Coordinator, at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
