Amy Cook, Project Management Intern (she/her)
I am from Jefferson City, Missouri and I graduated from Saint Louis University in 2023. Being a part of the Micah Learning Community at SLU first introduced me to service and the transformative connections it creates. I majored in Environmental Science and was looking for more experience in the research and conservation field when I found myself looking at service with JVC Northwest. I served in Bethel, AK as a Fisheries Technician with the Kuskokwim River Inter-Tribal Fish Commission.
I value all of the experiences and programs that I have been a part of. Each of them has fostered a place for me to learn more about myself and about the world. I love understanding truths and experiences through critical thinking and conversation.
In my free time, I enjoy bird watching, reading, running, anything outdoors, exploring new places, and sharing meals with others.
