Anne Bonino-Britsch, JV Program Coordinator (she/her)
I was born and raised in Glendale, CA (a suburb of Los Angeles) and have always called the West Coast home. First, growing up as the youngest of 3 children, in Southern CA, then up to the Bay Area for undergrad at the University of San Francisco where I studied Marketing and minored in Performing Arts and Social Justice with a concentration in Music. I worked at a nonprofit regional theater company during my final semester of college and immediately after graduating amidst the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic. In August of 2020, I moved up to Portland, OR to begin my first year of service with JVC Northwest and continued on for an additional year of service in Juneau, AK. After a bit of international and domestic travel and a return to Southern CA for a short stint, I moved back to Portland, OR in January of 2023 to continue working at my original service site, William Temple House, for another 2 and a half years.
I was thrilled to return to JVC Northwest as the Cascades Program Coordinator where I support the JV communities in Seattle, Tacoma, and Yakima. I love exploring new parts of the PNW through this role, walking alongside the JVs as they navigate community and service and dive into the values of JVC Northwest.
In my spare time, I enjoy singing, playing guitar, spending time with friends in some of Portland’s numerous public parks, and going to see the latest movies in the theater (or a second run movie for that matter!). I also love to thrift, shoot hoops, spoil my two sweetie nephews, spend time with my sister, and swim in the various waterways in the Portland Metro area and beyond!
