Book Discussion with Fr. James Martin, SJ
JVC Northwest is excited to welcome Fr. James Martin, SJ to lead the JVC Northwest community in a live, virtual book discussion on his new book Learning to Pray: A Guide for Everyone. All are welcome to attend this special online event! Learning to Pray is also the selection for this round of Ruined Readers Book Club.

James Martin, SJ is a Jesuit priest, writer, and editor-at-large for the Jesuit magazine America. Fr. Martin is an advocate for LGBTQ+ inclusion and healing in the Catholic church and is the founder and editor of Outreach, an LGBTQ Catholic resource offering news, essays, resources and community for LGBTQ Catholics, their families and friends, and those who minister to them in the Catholic church worldwide.
If you haven’t yet read Learning to Pray, we encourage you to pick up a copy and dive in before the event. However, you are welcome to attend whether or not you’ve read the book!
